Located on the eastern edge of Jasper National Park, Hinton is a ruggedly beautiful town set against the majestic backdrop of the Rocky Mountains. To achieve this target, Hinton has launched a strategy to position itself as an economic hub for a diverse mix of businesses and industries, as well as an existing geographic centre for health care, recreation, education, and transportation.

Hinton is the latest hotspot for development

High demand for residential housing is pushing up real estate values in Hinton, with an average price of a single family home increasing by 25% - 30% in the last year. A number of property developers and builders - including Edgeworth and one of the largest builders in Canada - have already started projects in Hinton. The town is also building Canada's first Eco-Industrial Park, a world-class development that will target leading-edge and environmetally responsible companies and tenants.
